To you know who

you're better
you're smarter
you win

i accept that i'm wrong
and tacky
and dim

so if you could
just go
and sit over there

i've got things to do
i'm sure you won't care

i've poems to write
and pictures to take
constellations to spot
and cupcakes to bake

you won't want to see it
i'm quite sure of that
so please leave me alone
you insufferable prat

Who, me? I'm pretty sure I can be a prat sometimes. Or insufferable. Or both.

Haw! No, not you at all! I've just dealt with one too many 'know-it-all' this week. ;)

Right to the point, Becca! You don't need a writing class, you are good on your own!

Thanks guys! :)

Becca, I love it! And, I too, can so relate. I should print this out and post it. :-D

Hi Debbie! Thanks! I'm glad you like it. I think we all have an insufferable prat or two in our lives. :)

I know several :) I sometimes hear people say that everything that exists serves some kind of purpose, but I have as much need for an insufferable prat as I do the elbola virus...
